Ice and Fire

The part of my site where I think about A Game of Thrones. Most of the documents here will be intentionally presented as they were - not changing them with information that became available after the writing.

Updates for 2018:

Rhaegar the Deceiver files - Part 1, Arthur and Rhaegar, Dark Rhaegar.

The original PDF files - very unorganized

All the PDF's were saved as PDF's on July 16, 2017. The original .doc files were created before, from March to June.

• Active Dark Object - the file with the post from April or so. An early version of the Dark Object. file
• Cersei - You Only Die Twice. It was another ReddIt post. Essentially stating the obvious (in my view) - that apparently the valonqar prophecy implies her dying twice. Argues against understanding valonqar as a literal "little brother" (or sister). Rather it means "not-quite-human". I hope to post an update on that soon. file
• The four options: Fire, Ice, both or neither. Dany is clearly fire. Jon is both - reconciling fire and ice. (Euron is against both, he represents "neither" option.) file
• Significance of Gilly. An early version of the file. So early that for some reason I keep calling her Ginny - I don't know why. Essentially arguing she discovers something textual, linguistic, and related to Azor Ahai or other significant prophecy. file
